Battery issue after recent updates

Hi guys me again...

So following on from my recent post due to battery drain since the last updates...

Took my phone case off to give phone a clean and noticed the back glass pushing out, battery has swollen... I can only assume this is due to the new software from the recent update as phone was absolutely fine before and battery was working as per 

Over the past 3 weeks after update by phone battery has been dropping drastically, get to work with 100%, phone kept in pocket till Lunch time (4hrs into my shift) with no use battery is down to 70%... leaving work after my 8hr shift phone is down to 40% and during the 40 minute drive home after work battery drops right down to around 12% and dies this has been consistent since the latest update.. so must be the reason for the battery swelling hense the poor performance... im going to replace it myself as phone is now 2yrs 4 months and out of warranty unfortunately.. 

So all you guys and girls and what nots out there please check your phone over for any abnormal change in the shape especially the back of the phone as id imagine im probably not the only one who's got this issue and you may also have the same battery swelling that I have today, worth a check as battery could explode ill attach a picture

You never know mate you may as well pop the back cover off and get a hair dryer to it cos the moisture would most likely stay inside and clean it with contact cleaner then hair dryer again it may turn on 😅

You know what, that aint a bad idea really! I mean I lost everything on the ***** thing so I wouldn't have to worry about losing anything again. I'll have to look into it cause something good could actually come out of this! Bad news is though is that its not had a software update in like 2 years. And as well I'm not sure if it would work as intended given how it is a Samsung Tab S6. If I could get it to work though, then I would most likely film youtube videos given how I've been looking for a device to do so

Worth a try mate nothing to lose really and if all works out then least you learned something new and can be proud of what you've accomplished haha, that's how I see it anyway, i wasn't aware it was a tab 6, check out on YouTube how to get it all apart mate it's so worth a try! Hope all goes well if you give it a go

Hi so after last update on my s23fe battery issues draining so fast Then 2 weeks later got message from Samsung time for upgrade is this just a coincidence or planned just to make me spend some more money on newer phones . Bloody updates

Wouldn't put it past them! I replaced my battery for around £20 might be worth you doing the same, you shouldn't be made or forced into buying a new phone every 2 years. The price they are they should last minimum 5yrs in my opinion
