Battery drain on One UI 7

Hi, Anyone still experiencing battery drain on OneUI 7?

What's the battery life, screen on time, now and what was it before

HI @James21 There are a number of threads with some advice.

Presumably you have had the update for a while..  However it is advisable to clear the cache partition(particular after OS updates)as some temporary cache files can become outmoded or even corrupt.

 1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

you could also try a Battery  stats Reset, with the Auto Blocker turned off dial *#9900# in the Samsung phone App.  scroll down to Batteystats Reset ,tap that and Restart Device.  This has also been mentioned recently by @lminvti @Moiramon  and  @Piper123   recently.

However there may also be a fix in the works whch will improve matters further. it would though be helpful for Members with pressing issue to attach their Battery stats.

I experience battery drain no matter the OneUI version. If you meant is it any worse than any previous version, that's a no, actually feels better on my Tab S8 Ultra tbh. My S25 Ultra is running OneUI 8 beta and battery seems the same.

It's worth mentioning that summer is upon us in the UK and battery life drops off drastically during this period, as compared to the colder months.

Yup - S23 has lost around 40% of battery life since going to 7.0. Cutting our losses and resetting the phone to factory settings.

This is just crazy. I'm going on holiday with my partner tomorrow and will now be unable to rely on my phone. This is the end of Samsung for me.
