Auto Brightness is gone.

Hi,up until this morning my S23 Plus has been working fine. But now the auto brightness option has gone from the brightness setting. I have restarted the phone but that did not help. 

Does anyone have an idea as to what may be causing this.

Have you clicked the 3 dots on the end of the brightness bar, see if adaptive brightness is turned on. I can see the dots faintly on yours, where on mine they are more noticeable.

Thank you for helping. I am such an *****. I did not have my glasses on and could not see the 3 dots. I changed from dark to light theme, and they were there. After switching back to dark theme, like you, I can just make out the dots.
