I wish there was a AOD disable feature with DND. I have to use modes instead.
However with modes and routine if the AOD is always on by default then it does not switch off if kept as a routine to 'tap to show' as a schedule, say during the night. But works the other way round (meaning if it's tap to show by default then the mode to turn it as always on for sometime works.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Basically I want AOD always on in the day but want the AOD in tap mode in night while sleeping. And is there a way to hide the mode/routine icons when active on phone and watch. It takes screen space.
Please do share some insights.

The aod error in routines has been solved with the recent nov patch. I'm able to keep phone on tap to show and use a routine to activate always on for a certain period which I was unable to do so before.

Hi. That's what I said. By doing that it does not switch to tap to show with mode.

Where is the 'last action set's.
I get an error of another operation preventing. There is no other mode active at the time.
I think always on aod as default setting prevents this routine.

I checked in other forums. It seems it's a tap to show issue which does not work in routine

I have routine set up to turn aod on and have display mode as tap to show. It works fine. Not sure what's enabled on your phone blocking it

That's good to know.
I tried checking. Couldn't find anything out of ordinary. I've a s23.
