I think lack of android 15 on Samsung S models looks like a joke. Xiaomi have it on HyperOS 2.0, Oppo as well. They sent me marketing bullshit but not android 15. Shame on you Samsung.

Do you want a rushed android 15 on barebones launcher or a stable, secure release? If it's the former, nothing stops you from changing to Xiaomi or Oppo? Do some research before 'shaming' anyone because it makes you look goofy 😂

Like I thought, some super fan of the brand is about to pop up and write something like this, don't you get it, it's not about early version its about competition in the market. If something is more secure must be implemented asap. How do you know the oppo or Xiaomi version is early.

@TT-TT what is so sensational about Android 15 that makes you demand it so hard? Android 14 with the UI works well so far, we still have safety patch updates. I don't know what's the rush there. 🤷🏻

Really, if you bought flagship phone you expect be on the front of game not chase others. Next time I will consider if I should buy Samsung again

I agree with most of what you're saying but...

This isn't just a security update, it's a full OS upgrade and these should be rolled out with far greater care as there's far more issues that can be introduced with it and in the scheme of things, the risk level of remaining on 14 with a stable OS and the latest security patches is far lower.

Historically Samsung has always been far slower than other manufacturers at pushing out it's OS updates, I'm guessing as they don't make any money from it the put less resources into getting the updates out (we could pretend they're more thoroughly testing them than other manufacturers).

At the end of the day, you're phone is still secure even if it's an OS revision behind. Android feature introduction and adoption has been slow for years anyway, is there anything in particular you're looking forward to?

It's just marketing. The release was artificially delayed to coincide with the release of new phones that are not very innovative and the only thing they will be able to boast of is the new One UI. There is nothing more to it.
