Accidently changed settings on my phone to always open with printer please help!

Hi I have stupidly set my phone so when I open any kind of file/document it always opens ready to print and I can't just read the file and I don't know how to reset this, just want to be able to read the files and not them all go direct to my printer

Add a screenshot of what it looks like when it opens ready to print. It might tell us what app needs resetting

You should be able to clear all defaults from the app you are using to open the files. Try going to settings, apps, my files, and clearing the default there. Or search 'default apps' in settings and clear the setting there

Go into settings then apps then find your printer app and clear the default there. I hope this helps 🙏

Hi, try Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Reset app preferences.

Translation: Hello! Please, how can I choose the default applications for opening documents? For example, in this picture, it doesn't offer my home HP printer at all, but it offers the ability to print on the Xiaomi Mi which I don't have.
