23 Ultra battery terrible since new update

I can watch the battery meter go down while using the phone before this new update my battery life was fantastic. Very disappointed hopefully there will be a patch .

Have you done a partition cache wipe?.
This can help with battery and performance especially after software updates, personally I always do this and "repair apps" in same menu.

It's possible that some software on an old app or something similar is not working as intended.

Have you checked in battery and device care to see what is using the battery store most.
Maybe double check all your apps are upto date.

Can also try Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone

Wiping cache partition fixes some of the bugs and improve performance by removing unwanted cache files.

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .

Then press Side Key to Confirm by selecting "Yes" and then press Side Key

You get "cache wipe complete" at the
bottom of the screen
Restart the phone to complete the
process

HERE YOU CAN SEE WHATS EATING YOUR BATTERY, AND CHANGE SETTINGS..

ALSO CHECK PERFORMANCE VS BATTERY.

MOST HAVE IT BALANCED ON OPTIMISED, SO BEST OF BOTH, IT DOESNT NEED PRFORMANCE UNLESS PLAYING GAMES. USUALLY GAME MODE WILL DO THAT TEMPORARY FOR YOU

Try SEETINGS-LOCATION-LOCATION SERVICES-WiFi SCANNING.
That was one thing I turned off and saved battery. Phones been good since.

I haven't experienced any worse battery drain since the update.
