Wifi calling won't work

I'm connected to wifi and its working fine but when I try to make a call it's says "mobile network not available" 

I am currently offshore with no mobile signal but the WiFi is fast enough, and the WiFi calling was working until today. 

Any help would be appreciated

If you are off shore, it may be that your WiFi is picking up either a satellite signal or a signal for a foreign network?

So if you don't have roaming turned on then it won't work?

You won't be able to as you're offshore, usually WiFi calling is routed through the cell provider. It is the case with mine.

My roaming is turned off. I am getting no signal at all, only the WiFi

Your captain doesn't want you to make calls so has blocked it 😒
