I switched from a redmi note 10 pro which battery lasted all day from morning till the afternoon and its not I used my phone a lot since I still go to school and we don't use phones a lot but since I switched to the samsung s22 ultra my battery doesn't last a lot like my battery from morning to the afternoon as soon I as I get Home its a like 50/40 percent(my redmi not 10 pro percent would probably be at 80/60precent)and its not really a problem but most of the time I forget to change it and it's really annoying that while I'm doing something Important it dies.
Maybe it's because it's an used phone that's why it doesn't last very long but I'm not sure.

Morning Lory, as you probably know, your Redmi was equipped with a Snapdragon 732 chipset, very good battery saving Soc. S22ultra with Exynos 2200 chipset is more powerful , the battery has same capacity....so can not compete with 732

Yes, if I understand correctly from your post you bought it used, so that's a big factor, since you don't know the history of the phone

If for those 2 years (the previous owner) let the phone discharge from 100 to 0 repeatedly the battery could be in a very bad shape and doesn't hold a charge for long

Have you tried a factory reset, i know it's annoying but it'll clean the device, but again being a used device you don't know how it was used and cycles of charge and discharge, you don't want the battery to drop below 20% before recharging just to preserve the health of it, and usually charge until 85% (there is a setting for it) but that is if you really want to preserve it for a long time, I charge from 30% to 100% without problems, of course the battery will degrade no matter what but it's a slower gradual process

You can check with samsung support and see what you can do

Hello everyone,

lory_00, welcome to our Community! 😊

In order to understand if there is an application or feature that impacts your battery consumption more strongly, I kindly ask you to send me a screenshot of the battery consumption screen by following these simple steps:

  • Settings
  • Battery
  • See details

First of all, it is important to point out that rapid battery consumption can depend on various factors such as, for example, the use of processor-intensive applications, the activation of various functionalities over a long period of time, and applications running in the background, which remain operational in the background and continue to consume power.

In this regard, I suggest you take a look at the following guide:

https://www.samsung.com/it/support/mobile-devices/consigli-pratici-per-ottimizzare-la-durata-della-b...

Keep me updated, I remain at your disposal.

Have a nice day!
