Whatsapp Notifications

Hello,

I am having two issues when it comes to notifications on WhatsApp. The first is that if I respond to a message from the notification drawer, the message never clears until I either go into WhatsApp or unless I manually clear it (the 4 blue dots on the right just keep spinning).

Other messaging apps (LINE, Google Chat) once you respond, the notification goes away.

The other issue I have is that whenever I use WhatsApp on my computer, the notifications also have to be manually cleared, even if they are old messages that have already been responded to. No other app does this on the S22.

Has anyone else encountered this or have a suggestion to fix this issue?

Hi, I have seen this happen in the past with WhatsApp and Teams. I guess, it eventually resolved on its own. Try restarting the phone and also clearing the cache for WhatsAop.

Thanks for your reply. I have cleared the cache and restarted and will report back.

ETA: Unfortunately this didn't work. I hope it will fix itself, I suppose. I've been quite happy with the phone otherwise.
