Whatsapp after ONE UI 5 update

After the update when choosing gallery on WhatsApp it only shows the WhatsApp images, the rest of my albums don't appear until I opt to choose it on the 3 dots

I have S22 ultra too, and all the problems of original poster. It has made the sending of a picture incredibly long winding

I have a S22 Ultra as well, WhatsApp version 2.22.23.77 and the it works fine. The first folder is the camera, next all media and all the rest below.

It's made sending multiple pictures more difficult

I just had this issue. Go in app settings for WhatsApp and give it permission to access files photos and videos.
