I'm ready to throw my S22 ultra at the wall, I've never had such a nightmare in all my life trying to record a video on a phone, I'm holding my phone landscape whilst recording the video, when I copy it to my computer it's either landscape but upside down or it's in portrait mode when I recorded it in landscape mode ??? What the hell is going on.

How are you transferring video to your pc? Try simple copy paste so no built-in wizard

I am, just plugging the cable from my phone into the computer, opening explorer and just copying and pasting it to my PC desktop.

If you view the video using vlc directly while on phone is it correct orientation? If yes then the issue arises when transferring onto pc. Windows might be confusing something

Or do you start recording video in portrait then rotate the phone?

No I start recording in landscape, I expect it to be in landscape when I transfer it to the computer, and the right way up, my Mrs doesn't have this problem with her iPhone and I ended up using that to make the video I was trying to do, it just a bit of a nightmare with iPhone as it doesn't open up in explorer, you have to use iTunes
