The newest update changed the bottom navigation buttons. The home/back/apps buttons. They are now permanently there, whereas they used to have a setting where they could be hidden. You could swipe them, now your have to tap them. Listen, android, we're not Apple, quit forcing these unwanted, unacceptable changes on us. We do not agree. We do not conform. We do not like.

I believe that the issue is that the swiping option has been taken away. It's disorienting

They've taken those options away even though you can select it

The new update is terrible, the left and right swipe interfere with other apps

I saw this workaround on the net and tried and it work just the same as the swiping before Samsung took it away. Wish they hadn't made life harder, but feel like I've got my phone back again.

same issue, i got my a55 recently and had it for about a week and today the navigation bar decided to become permanent... it doesn't go away when using apps, it doesn't fade when on the home screen and I can no longer make it go away with any settings at all within the phone, i can choose to have it as a garbage invisible swipe option but not the way it was... why tf not just leave it alone samsung?? if it ain't broke, dont fix it. I completely want a new phone now, I might go buy some apple garbage instead. completely disappointed in this company at this point.
