Unable to sync my Samsung Calender

I have tried to sync my Samsung calendar with my outlook, hotmail & gmail and it will not budge

I can't believe it's that static that it has no flexibility

I have read all the blogs and tried all the suggestions but it still won't sync

Do I literally have to go into every single entry and change the calendar manually?

I have all my appointments on the Samsung calendar and I don't want to lose them. I'm reluctant to delete the app

When you make an event in the calendar, what is the default calendar that the event is assigned to? If it's not your Outlook, then the event stays as a local reminder on your phone calendar and is not synced

The default is the Samsung calendar. I know how to change it, but I want all of my data in one calendar. So if I can't sync to another I am stuck with the Samsung one.

You mean the default used calendar in Samsung Calendar app is "my phone>my calendars"

If that's the case and you knew it all the way, why are you complaining about noy syncing with other calendars 😂😂??

If your default "account " for saving events into the calendar is "my phone> my calendars" then they stay on your phone only and never sync with any other account.

When you make an event, tap on "calendar" and make sure you pick your Outlook account. In the photo, it's the green tick not the one above it

I have the default as my Samsung account calander. Which still doesn't let me sync. I have all my phones and tablet that has picked up the calender and all the data. However, I can't transfer any of that data to another calender.

Once an event is on a certain account it stays on that account across devices. it doesn't sync across accounts but rather across devices if the desired account is logged in on those devices.

Assuming you are using Samsung account calendar, lets check if this is activated on your phone

on your phone go to: Settings > accounts and backups > manage accounts > select Samsung account > sync settings > calendar > Turn on Auto sync.

if its off, then turn it on and make sure you pick the allowed connection (wifi or mobile or both) then hit sync now.
