Good afternoon all. I'm having a bit of a crisis with my S22 and hope that there is a tekky on here who can prevent me stamping on it.

I am a singer and as such need to connect my phone to my P.A. to play my backing tracks. My last phone required a USBc to 3.5mm connector and as soon as I plugged it in, it played my music directly from my phone through my speakers.

The S22 doesn't want to do this and displays the above message. I've checked that the cable still works on the old phone (it does) and tried a different cable in case and all good with old phone but still getting the same message on the S22.

I have looked online and have tried several workarounds but with no joy as yet. Please, please take a few mins to answer if you're having or have had the same issue as me as I'm in a bit of a crisis with this and have had to take my old phone along which is a bit ridiculous to say the least.

hank you SO MUCH in advance. A detailed click by click walkthrough on how to resolve would leave me forever in your debt.  Merry Christmas all. x  Salty.

I have a converter that works with my Samsung Galaxy S23+. It is the "Xmart Type-C digital audio adapter - USB Type-C to DC 3.5mm & Type C". I bought also this Baseus converter bit it doesn't work. When you buy a converter for Samsung (or at least for S23+), there should be a description on the box “Digital Audio Decoding Chip”. If it doesn't have this decoding chip - it will not work. I don’t know if it is the same for other brands of mobile phones.

What's your suggestion when the phone won't charge with its original fast charger or any other fast charger , and wouldn't read when earphones are plugged in?
