👋

Bit of a weird one for me, and I can't find the solution to it so I'm hoping someone else can shed some light.

On the status bar, while on homescreen, it doesn't show all icons. IE NFC is on for example but it doesn't reflect on the bar. See below image. It's the same if I turn Bluetooth on aswell.

But, when I pull down to get my notification section it does show to be on. See below.

A few days ago it was absolutely fine so the issue has just cropped up. It could be that it's quite late and I've overlooked something but for the life of me I can't figure it out 🤭

I did do a FDR so maybe that's messed something up maybe? Idk.

EDIT: checked out QuickStar module for a workaround but everything is showing as on already and also, when I toggle on of the status icon options the status bar, right handside flashes, but doesn't actually change.

Also I did install system configuration update too so idk if the problem started before or after this.

Hmm. Yeah maybe you're right with this one. Annoyingly I keep getting a little message in status bar says 'IMS WIFI Call' too since all of this started.

Blizzare how, if going from that's it's the system configuration update which may be network related, that it can affect the smallest of things such as this.

I think it may be a case of just living with it and getting used to it but I appreciate your input 🙂

The more I think about it, I'm leaning towards the space issue. Some icons probably need to stay (despite being able to hide them, I think that's different to them not being there). The IMS WiFi call can probably be hidden with the QuickStar module

Without the routine I'm currently using, my NFC icon shows all the time when toggled on. Presumably expected behaviour.

Thanks. This system configuration thing you installed...what exactly is it and where is it from?

Yeah, I don't think either is a bug as such, more a limitation of the space required to be free for more prioritised icon notifications.

Agreed. I'm sure I've seen a warning on Good Lock somewhere that says some icon customisations may overlay native icons causing the OP's issue. Might also occur with the system configuration update they've installed?

Yeah it's probably the native icon allocated space. I don't think GoodLock would have any bearing either way here, it's more to do with the necessary space being available (there'll only be so much available up to the selfie camera). I wonder if WiFi calling and other icons that would appear there were turned off (as opposed to hidden) whether other icons would appear

The odd thing though is that OP has tried it in Safe Mode which should of disabled all 3rd party apps and customisations but the NFC icon still doesn't show. Waiting to find out what that system configuration update is. Never heard of it so unsure if its a Samsung thing or 3rd party.

Ahhh right that one. Was thinking it was something totally different. Guess Safe Mode would have no bearing on that? Can't even think why that setting would hide icons? Mines toggled on btw.
