How does separate app sound in sound assistant work? When u tap on the Bluetooth icon for one device it sometimes works as it should, and switches media from that app to BT speaker and leaves others to play on the phone. But now, most of the time it takes both app sounds to BT device or to device sound, it doesn't separate it.

@Adi0: For clarity, is the Separate app sound feature working intermittently for the same app e.g. Samsung music? If you head to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Separate app sound, is it toggled on, and do you have your preferred app and audio device selected? If so, is the Bluetooth device connected, and in range of your phone when you enable the feature?

It's definitely an odd one, @Adi0. 🤔
I think I managed to replicate it using YouTube Music and Shazam apps, where they were both playing sound on the phone despite me having Shazam selected as going through the Bluetooth device:
I did manage to get the sounds playing where I wanted, but it took some back-and-forth between the apps and pressing the Bluetooth/Phone icon in the expanded Volume menu there again to do it. I don't think it should be as "fiddly" as that (or as intermittent as it turned out to be for me too) though: logically, it should be just press the icon and the sound gets sent to what you've selected. So I submitted an error report through Members. I'll let you know what I get back from that.
