Sound and Video Issues

I am getting very frustrated with my S22 Ultra. At least 3 or 4 times a week my phone loses all sound, the vibration does not work and any video playback is at twice the speed. The only way I can fix it is to perform a restart. I have contacted Samsung support and they got me to backup my phone and perform a full factory reset. I completed this which was very time consuming and tedious but the problems are still happening. As you can imagine this is not what I expected from a flagship phone and I am becoming increasingly tired of the issue. Has anyone else had the same problem. Thank you.

When you performed a factory reset did you then set up your phone again from your back ups @Members_YZxbm3i  ?

If so I would have suggested to factory reset and for the interim set the phone up as new i.e don't use any back ups and see how the phone performs fresh.

I would also suggest not to use Smartswitch.

Also using Safe Mode is a good tool.

Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict.

If this continues then it maybe time to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on or if one isnt local you may have to send it away or if supplied by a network and not directly from Samsung then have a word with them.

I can appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.

I wish you all the best.  :smiling-face:

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

This answer makes me hate the S22 and not want to buy another Samsung phone.  You guys needs to put out a fix that doesn't cause such a hassle to implement!
