I wanted to check if anyone else is having this issue. I have already factory reset but it didn't help.
When I wake up the screen, sometimes, the display colours are deeply saturated. The touch screen works fine and I can still navigate the UI but all colours are deep and saturated. Turning off the display and waking it up again resolves it.
Because it happens randomly I don't think its a hardware issue. It also seems to have started a the same time as the last security patch.
I have tried turning off fingerprint unlock but that didn't help.
To clarify, this issue isn't related to dark mode, screen brightness or blue light filter.
The first picture below shows the phone screen correctly whilst the second picture shows the colours saturated.
