S22 Ultra won't work without WiFi

My 10 day old S22 Ultra is practically unusable without WiFi, not sure whether it's the phone or my 4g Esim, any thoughts friends? (O2 UK)

Can you place another SIM (not esim) and see if how it works. Do usually have good coverage where you are? When you say unusable, in what way, what happens or not

Thank you for your reply, I kind of sorted it out when I reset the network settings
I was not able to use mobile data, voice was working fine.

Just out of curiosity the S22 series support 5G why are you only using a 4G SIM?

Good question 😀, I live in a rural village, we hardly get 5g unless I get closer to London.. So rather than killing the phone battery constantly looking for 5g, I put 4g Esim, locked the phone to 4g
What do you think? Today in fact I was thinking to change to 5g

You can use a 5G SIM and still lock it to 4G and it shouldn't use any battery

I don't bother with 5g even in the city with excellent coverage
