Hi there.
I just received my new S22 Ultra. I love every bit of this phone however I do notice an issue with refresh rate when set to "adaptive". When watching videos it looks like the image is jerky. Not sure if it a sudden and quick screen refresh rate drop or something else but it is very noticeable specially when watching high quality videos.
Would this be fixed with an update or there is an issue with the phone? I really don't want to send my phone away for replace or anything. 😞
Does anyone else have issues with FPS when set to high / adaptive?
Btw I tried lowering the resolution ect but it seems only the screen refresh rate setting is affecting the phone
Anyways. Please let me know your thoughts.
Stay safe all

Same issue on snapdragon device here so not related to chipset. Waiting for update since 2 months now and i don't think they even know about this issue. A bug this major should have been fixed even before releasing the device. Now this expensive brick is only good for camera.

Yes and I sent them many times error bugs by Samsung Members but never got an answer. There must be some way to let them know?

I think that if every S22, S22+ and S-Ultra owners send Samsung a support ticket about this issue, or simply ask for returning your phone for a refund because of this issue, they may actually start doing something about it.
All YouTube video praises those phones, without one mentioning this issue. Time for me to make one then too if they don't fix this soon.

That gives me the same idea on the topic of gaming... don't see why when i'm playing things like Alto's Odyssey, or even Ensemble Stars, I get a jitter on refresh rate. The phone gets noticeably hotter as well, which brings up a LOT of eyebrow raises. I feel like you could play around the Developer Settings to adjust something on the phone, but god forbid I know anything about newer phones.

Same issue here, on iplayer and youtube etc I can see it's 120fps for a few seconds after touching the screen and it's nice smooth video then it goes to 60 and looks like sh1t

Guys did you solve the problem? I have the same situation on my s22 and it annoys me so much. Nothing brought the result so i think it is up to samsung to improve software.

Actually yes, no thanks to Samsung but to the app Galaxy Max Hz! It didn't work before but in the more recent versions it does! Now I'm running the screen at 60-120hz and the jerkiness is gone and the refresh rate actually stays locked at a minimum of 60.

Thank you very much. Even if this app drains all of the battery, takes my identity.. it's worth it. No longer do videos etc in apps drop to 24hz. Stays at 60 which is great!

I have been facing the same issue in the past week. I have the S22 Ultra. It happens even when using apps like Facebook, Twitter etc. When scrolling through it jerks/freezes and then I need to scroll again. The only place I can scroll through perfectly is in the App Launcher. All other apps are jerking.
