S22 Ultra Problems

I'm not sure whether I have been unlucky or not but I have had several issues with my new S22 Ultra 256GB with Exynos CPU.

• The screen would go blank when browsing on google Chrome, I did find a fix on here for that thankfully. (Iphone McGee advised to type Chrome://flags into chrome and disable 'Android SurfaceControl')
• The phone overheats while charging. I had the cheek to charge while casting to my tv and it overheated so much that I got a warning via a message and lost functionality on my phone as precautionary measure until it cooled down. The phone was so hot it melted the glue on the lens protector I had applied and was very hot to touch; uncomfortably so.
• The speaker audio has become crackly on occasion noticeable when I raised the volume past approx 70/80%. This seems to happen randomly. I haven't been able to narrow down what causes this so can't repliacte the issue. This problem does seem to be remedied once I restart my device.
• The latest problem is that when I cast from the native video app the screen goes into what looks like one hand mode except the touch screen does not line up with what you are attempting to touch. Luckily I have the s pen pointer showing on the screen which would show how offest the screen was otherwise the phone would have been unusable. I had thought this was to do with automation relating to one hand mode so disabled it completely. The issue still occurred irrespectively. The only way I found to fix this, other than to restart the device - was to go to the display settings and change the resolution at which point the screen would return to full functionality.
• On a general note, the battery doesnt really last long. I havent taken the time to measure this but my S20 ultra would perform better even though certain software tweaks and a brand new battery would have you believing there should be a difference.

Luckily for me I spoke to my network provider EE who agreed to replace my handset on warranty as it was within 30days of purchase.

I suspect alot of these problems will be remedied with an update or 2 or maybe I really have faulty handset. The S22 Ultra has alot of potential but being an early adopter hast worked out for me. It's been very frustrating if Im honest. I now have to transfer my data again and have lost the money I have spent on a screen and lens protectors in the hope the next handset I receive doesnt have the same complications.

This is extremely frustrating as I cast almost every evening. Wanting a fix, as I don't really want to return!

I too cast very regularly. There needs to be a fix as this was one of the most frustrating issues especially before i worked out the workaround.

I have problem with using smart view or dex. The phone screen will appear small as if its one hand mode. And touching an app or options wont work because it doesnt align with display. I had to restart my phone by bixby command... 😞

My s22 U, 12 GB RAM, display looks worse than Note 8, s9 or even A52 I have. Lacks contrast and color looks faded. Vivid mode is on.  Tried cool temp as well.

It stutter during scrolling. Never had this in any s series phone.

When watching whatsapp statutes and flip to landscape mode the video doesnt fill the screen. There is a black bar at the bottom.

Also having issues with spotify and soundcloud stopping after a few mins when screen is off. I have them unrestricted battery permissions but still having issues. Spotify is also having issue when using android auto in my car.

I think a lot of apps havent been updated for lastest android version

i have a problem also in some advertising that is have very high zoom ratio and i can't see from it

I have these audio syreaming issues too. Audio apps stop playing after about five minutes. In Spotify even after two songs.

There is no problems, if I download the book or playlist into the Phone. Also if the screen stays unlocked, there is no problems. Any fixing solutions from support does not help. REALLY annoying!

Hi there!

I recently noticed a lack of alignment on the 10x camera lens of my S22U. 

I wonder if anyone else in the community has this problem.

Apparently it does not affect the functioning of the phone, but visually it is uncomfortable, it seems lack of quality, especially in a phone with such high value.

The naked eye is almost imperceptible to lack of alignment, but if you pay attention, the rectangular frame is not well aligned with the body of the cell phone. 

It is slightly tilted to the right (clockwise)

In the approximate photo it is possible to see clearly the lack of alignment.
