S22 Ultra One UI Crash

I've noticed that the One UI will crash every now and then and I have to wait for the phone to be ready to work for a while. Usually a couple if minutes. Any advice? I had a software update today so that might fix it but I'm not sure.

I've done the update and so far I haven't had any issues. I will reply on this chat if I do have any issues

Oh I see, we're having the opposite effect. Hopefully mine doesn't start acting up now that I've done the update

Thank you. I'm currently troubleshooting with a Samsung agent now. And have found out my phone will not stay turned off. It automatically powers back on when I turn it off

I am having same issue after update s22 ultra.

Same here, often freezes/OneUI crashes on the lock screen when trying to unlock through fingerprint. 

Exynos model with March update.

Haven't had a problem like this before on any of my (many) Samsung phones.

Same here. Started about a week ago. Frustrating. Never happened in 8 years of Notes

Try to release the pen while it is frozen. It should come back immediately to normal operation.

My resolution to this was to go to Settings > Apps > 3 Dot Menu (top right) > Reset App Preferences.

This will wipe all your defaults, remove permissions from everything, re-enable all apps and reset all notification settings. It was the last resort before i was going to try a hard reset. Its been ~24 hours and haven't had the system ui crash again yet. Before doing this, if i left the phone too long, or even while using it, it would eventually lock up within 10 mins with a system ui crash and couldn't get past the lock screen.
