S22 Ultra not recognising bluetooth headphones

Hello,

I have an issue when trying to connect my bluetooth headphones to my S22 Ultra phone. The headphones in question are Sennheiser HD 450BT.

The headphones will not be displayed in the list of available devices when scanning, even though they should be visible to other devices. I've used them with my previous phone (Galaxy S10), and there were no issues. I've even tried un-pairing them from the old phone but the S22 Ultra will still not recognise them.

I've connected successfully to my JBL speaker, so it seems to be an isolated issue.

Any suggestions? And yes, I have tried turning the phone off and on again :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Thanks in advance.

Check if the headphones are in pairing mode.

@andrea_novakovic Hello, resetting the Sennheiser headphones and resetting your phone's network settings should solve the problem. Greetings.

Hi @andrea_novakovic  Can you try Resetting the Network Settings. Settings- General Management- Reset- Reset Network Settings.   This Shall Reset BlueTooth, Wifi and Mobile Data.   Afterwards check if you can pair/connect.   Know this solved  Bluetooth issue for me once.

if still problems you could try wiping the cache partition:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
