It is now June 6th and I started having this problem 2 days ago. Did all the troubleshooting and nothing works. Contacted Samsung and they told me to upgrade to the S24. There is no way I am upgrading to another Samsung after the bad experience with this one.

I was extremely lucky I got the full price of the device back after trying to repair it twice and then it was sent for a warranty claim which they sided with me as it was a recurring software issue.

That's what they have told me too as an option.

I got this one paid for finally, never had a problem with Samsung until now.

They want me to pay for a new phone or pay to have this one fixed bc of THEIR problem!  NO WAY!!!!!!!

Same with me.. Samsung patch has resulted in loss in network and they are asking for a upgrade to S24. Is there anyway I can downgrade my software to older version?

I asked that, and they told me no.  They update cannot be undone.

I went thru all the proper channels I was told to go thru.

new sim, reset everything, and NOTHING worked!

I have always had Samsung phones since my blackberry days.  I loved them, never any problems until now.

I don't want to make the switch to iPhone, but this has surely let me down and disappointed me.  I had thought about just buying a new 24, BUT what if it happens again?  It sure seems to be a huge issue with them right now.

Similar issue noticed here in Australia with my S22 ultra. Been trying to solve this with my network operator however it now makes sense that I had few pending software upgrades may have broke this great device. I bought it considering 4 yrs of software upgrades promise however never thought it would break my phone at 2 yr mark. I use dual sim for Vodafone physical sim and optus eSim, having issues with both. Vodafone physical sim works in my old Oneplus 6T, i will try reset and switch eSim to another device to prove the point. But we like Samsung to roll out software fix. This dirty trick to push customers upgrade to similar new models like 23 or 24 ultra dose not go long way. We are loosing trust. With 24 ultra you promised 7 yr software upgrade but we fear same dirty trick in few years.

Update on 1st Oct 24: I ended up buying S24 Ultra and using it for past 3 months and it works without any issue with same network and sim cards. This proves that Samsung has messed up big time with old S22 Ultra software updates. Really bad experience. Samsung has to own and fix their mistakes.

Update on 21st Nov 2024 : I took the phone to one of the service center in India on 23rd Oct and they replaced I think antenna module for about ~ 3000 INR and phone is back to life for about last one month its working fine.

Part description as per invoice :

2.Part code :GH82- 29193A

Hope this helps someone looking for solution.

I am facing this problem since last 1 week, tried everything,  raised issue with carrier twice, changed physical SIM, upgraded to eSIM, but problem still persists. Its so disheartening and exhausting!
