The thing is though, people shouldn't have to be turning this and that setting down or off just so that a top of the range phone functions properly.. we should be getting a fully functioning device from the start.!!

They've pushed out the Exynos version far to quickly without getting it running properly.. whether or not software updates will fix the MANY problems or not who knows??? This is the reason I returned mine and will wait to see how future updates workout..!

Quite interesting.
I started from scratch with my s22 ultra exynos. I didn't use smartswitch or anything else to restore but installed every application. I only restored my text messages.
At first day battery life was on par with my old note 20 ultra, but it got better day by day and now after couple of days it's having ~15% more battery left during same time period after charging compared to note 20 ultra. Also Geekbench result is rising day by day. On first day it was 1144 (single core) and now after 4 days it's 1181.
I've got the first sw update. At first there was the scrolling bug especially in twitter and reddit apps, but now after couple of days that is also getting better by itself, weird.
Maybe I'm just lucky or it was a good decision to start from the scratch with the new phone and not do any backup/restore from old phone.
Btw, how you enable refresh rate info on screen?

I got some serious buyers remorse going on. My 14 days cool off is up tomorrow and I have already sent my old device back. If Samsung do not sort out the long list of issues they have, this hand on heart will be the last EVER Samsung device I buy.
To spend ever increasing money on these phones that are way below the level which they should be is not only disrespecful to their loyal customer base but should be illegal.
So so dissappointed with a company I have been loyal to for so many years!
If they offered us to swap Exynos version for Snapdragon I would defo be interested. Samsung if you are listening, sort this out for us please. I know this device sold like hotcakes but you will be losing alot of customers to Apple and other Android OEMs in the future.

If you can still I'd still return it for refund, I feel so much better after I did.
I'll just wait now to see if anything changes.!
