S22 Ultra gallery missing hidden folders after android 13 update

After the recent Android 13 update the gallery is missing the hidden folders. I checked the trash and under view all but those photos cannot be located. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Is it just too well hidden for me to find? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hidden folders? Are you meaning images & folders that are within Secure Folder? If so then you'll have to unlock the Secure Folder to view files within and using the Gallery app within Secure Folder app.

Hi if in secure folder I hope you have backed them up because the first time I was using it I never backed them up and lost everything after update the 3 dots at the top then go and back up hopefully this helps you a bit

Hi! Yes, I just figured it out about an hour ago on my S22. So when you go to the gallery settings, you deselect the option where it says "select albums to show". Once that's deselected, the option on the main album menu will bring back the option to show your hidden photos/albums. Hope this helps! Let me know!

It's not only the hidden folder is missing on my Samsung galaxy s22 ultra fter updating to android 13 but i have lost all and anyone send me WhatsApp media and that also i cant see and it sayd no storage left on the phone although i have plenty still to use.

I've upgraded my android to 13 version.

When I want to take a picture it says not enough space while I had 156 gig free space before updating. The storage information aren't real it show 0 bit capacity of my storage... but in gallery I have my pics. How can u help me. I think it(android 13) doesn't pass some test.

I have deselected "select albums to show". it hasn't changed anything
