Mines EVR. But the handset is fully unbranded therefore should work. It's never had ANY branding was purchased SIM free

Was purchased as SIM free therefore this shsosuldnt be the case. Laws in the UK dictate SIM free handsets must be fully SIM free with no locks or restrictions in any way. This would count as a restriction/ lock in some way then?

It is sim free but has EE firmware.

No ee branding, no ee apps. Totally generic firmware etc . Strange

You provided the device's CSC in the screenshot you kindly provided. This shows your active CSC is EVR.

I get that I really do.. but that's not what I was sold it as. Seems I'm not the only one. May need to alter this
