S22 Screen brightness settings too bright

Does anyone else find the S22 brightness settings too bright?

I've turned off adaptive settings, tried eye comfort shield and turned it as low as it will go, but looking at my phone at night still feels like a punch to the eyes.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Have you uesd the pull down menu and changed the brightness at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively you can choose dark mode which will turn all white black and all black to white.

Using the brighness slider also found in Settings , Display I have this set just before half way and find this good.

Have you tried the 'extra dim' option? You can find it in the quick settings dropdown or you can search settings.
