Restarting/rebooting issue

Hey everyone. 
Is anyone having any issues with their phone suddenly rebooting? 
Mine has started doing it today, just randomly. I havent dropped it, the auto restart is off. This morning it rebooted 3 times in 20 minutes and then in the last hour it got stuck on a reboot cycle for about 15 minutes and wouldn't even turn on. 
I feel like im losing my mind. 
Just installed the 6.1 update but I dont know if its helped.

Not sure why it's only affecting some models, just feel I can't rely on it when I need to access tickets, boarding passes etc, bit worrying

It really is I hope they sort it out soon. I've sent 2 reports today about it. I've seen people saying samsung have said its the motherboard for some people but I mean it can't be if multiple people are having the same issue

I have to get another phone a55 3 weeks ago as my previous phone an extremely well looked after a52 started doing exactly the same reboot loop all day then for some reason stay on then goes again that all started at ui6 update sent loads of error logs samsung still looking at 3 weeks in

Yeah mine did it yesterday morning, then was fine all day till around 5pm. Then again until 11pm.
Its stressing me out, I dont want to have to buy a new a phone, they need to sort it out! It's affecting a lot of people

If you haven't already tried this try connecting phone via USB to a laptop.
While phone is off.
Then hold power button and volume up buttons together.
Wait for samsung logo to appear keep holding.
When second galaxy logo appears let go of buttons.
You should the be on factory settings.
Using volume up/down scroll down to wipe cache partition then press power button.
You will see at bottom off screen message saying cache portion wiped complete.
Then restart option appears .
Hopefully this might work for you has not for me but does for some .

Thankfully my phone hasn't restarted for the last week, occasionally the screen freezes but can cope with that. Hope it lasts, not sure why it's now OK

Did you manage to fix this? Mine has been rebooting constantly to the point I cant use it at all. Frustrating when I'm paying for a phone I can't use

I haven't been able to use my phone since March.  It gets stuck in a reboot loop and error messages pop up. It then stopped recognizing the sim card.  I had to borrow a friend's old phone just to have something to use.  Meanwhile I have a $1200 paperweight that I can't get Samsung to fix or Verizon.  I'm still paying on the phone but it's out of warranty.  Good luck.  I've probably made two dozen calls to Samsung over this.  Nothing comes of it.  So I've got $300 left to pay before I can trade it in or upgrade.

I managed to get Samsung to send mine off with it being in warranty and they said it was the motherboard. It was fixed and I have it back however it's just restarted again after like a month. I'm hoping it's a one off
