Play video from cloud

Hi I've just upgraded to a s22 ultra from a note 8

I was looking at a video I recorded the other day on my s22 ultra and it said play from the cloud so I'm guessing it auto deletes vids off the internal memory once it's uploaded to the cloud 

I want my vids stored locally on My phone is there a setting to turn that off

You need to provide more info as to what cloud backup you using?

I made photos and recording on my s22 Ultra, I have mine backed up to Amazon Photos and my personal NAS nothing is removed from my phone.

I don't think Samsung Cloud deletes it off you phone either, the short time I used i, it never did.

It's saving to one drive when I go to the default gallery on the phone it says in details /onedrive
I have to download it to get it to save on the phone.
I've had a look through the settings on the onedrive app but I can't find anything to stop it doing it.
It's annoying I didn't have Internet when I wanted to watch one of my vids so I couldn't watch it

One drive doesn't remove local copy, as far as I know. The only thing I could think it did click on one of the tools that say "free up more on phone " option on the file 📂?

Cose that would delete local copy

Yeah maybe I have clicked free up space before and it's done it.
I will take a vid and see if it it does it automatically or not

I have exactly the same issue as Joe776: On my S10 (with plenty of local storage space, but with OneDrive sync on pictures), all videos recorded by the device are removed from local storage and only available online.
Terribly annoying, wasteful (bandwidth/time) but surely very profitable for Microsoft (& hence Samsung). I haven't found a way to turn it off - so if someone can help that would be great!

I hv the same issue on my Note 10+ and idk most of my pics n vids got deleted after i stopped thm frm syncing through one drive.
