Photos not appearing Gallery in correct date order

Dear Community,

This is a nightmare, I have backed up everything, and transfer data to the S22, I used Smart Switch and the photos appear in the gallery all in the wrong order, all appearing on the day of the transfer! 

how can we do this simply while keeping date the photo / item was taken please ?

Try with Good Guardians / Media File guardian apps to correct the date

By the way, if this was backed up to Onedrive or google Photos, and that used as a method to restore, do you know if that will keep the correct date when the photos get restored in the gallery?
