I never thought I would say this, but I'm absolutely fed up with my S22 Ultra, and I think it's time to move to Google Pixel. Let's see if any of the Samsung administrators even respond to this or even care about us out here.
For the last week my phones been restarting/looping constantly multiple times a day. When my phone does load, it just becomes unstable and extremely slow and then goes back into loop mode.
I have formatted my phone and wiped the cache partition. Installed the latest update that was released yesterday. (Security patch 1 Jan 2024)
Ive backed up without restoring any of my apps or user settings and redownloaded everything again ( takes so much time)
STILL THE SAME SH*T
Anyone please help

While that's not a typical experience, @Members_eJ6959A, I appreciate that it's far from ideal.
I understand that you've already followed some steps to address your S22 Ultra restarting over the last week.
Our friends from Samsung US have created this excellent guide about how to identify and address a situation where your phone or tablet might be rebooting repeatedly:
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001475/
Another useful step would be to pop your phone into Safe Mode. This will disable any third-party applications, so that we can determine whether these are causing the issue.
To do this, press and hold the Power button until you see Power off, Restart and Emergency > Press and Hold the Power Off icon until it shows a Shield > Tap the Shield. After this, the S22 Ultra will start in Safe Mode.
If the restarting/looping is not evident whilst in Safe Mode, then it suggests that the trouble is being caused by a third-party app. To resolve this, exit Safe Mode, then begin uninstalling apps you've downloaded one by one (restarting the phone between each app uninstallation) until the issue fixes itself.
Once you've identified the troublesome app, you can reinstall the other apps via the Galaxy/Google Play Store.
If this does not work, then I highly recommend submitting an Error report, as this will allow our experts to take a more granular look at this for you:

Please let us know when you get this resolved.

Now the latest update was pushed to my S22 Ultra I'm experiencing the same problem, but mine won't even boot up back into Android anymore. It's constantly stuck in a bootloop. I've cleared the cache, even did a factory reset, it all had no result. The phone won't even boot up in safe mode. I had the exact same thing with my S20+ after an update 2 years ago. These are not cheap products and yet relying on continuous proper use for 2 years is apparently too much to ask.

Same herewith s22 ultra. After the update last night sometimes goes to a reset loop, sometimes just one time restart randomly. I have did all the suggestions and what I thought could be the problem but I think there is some bugs still in this update. exactly same as before. on the updates I experienced malfunction of batteries also but this is new for me. It is better maybe to not upgrade the framework if they can't. Thinking to buy an iphone even if I am not fan of ios but really embarrasing this situation for me as I am going on a trip with this phone. Unbelievable!

Had the same problem. For me it worked putting the phone in the freezer for 20 minutes (to make it stop boot looping), then entering recovery mode, and Wiping Cache Partition. As James4578 suggested.

Fortunately not a factory reset. That can actually make problems worse sometimes. Try getting a new battery installed. If this works, good for you.

Have you tried getting a new battery installed? By the way Samsung wouldn't be very happy if you moved to Google Pixel
