Both myself and my husband keep having issues with our Samsung phones. First they both said there was water in the charging ports on different days (neither had been near water) now everytime they charge they stop start charging. Both use genuine Samsung chargers and my cable is fairly new. We started to think it was our electrics but it also happens when connected in my car. Has anyone else has this? Seems to of been since the recent update.

Had it with my S21 ultra. Same situation but it kinda sorted it self out .
If you have a wireless charger maybe charge on there for a few days. Hopefully it should sort it self out in a couple if days.
Also I did clean a lot if fluff from the charging port of the phone with a flattened toothpick. So you could try that.
Or even blowing a hair drier lightly over the port.

In addition to @GoanGeek 'a excellent advice you could ask a Samsung Service Centre to look at the phone's.
Also run the diagnostic tool in your Samsung Members App.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
