Petition: Samsung unblock 60FPS to third-party developers. Can we get a +1 for everyone to use other apps and usefull devices

My request is simple, we are in 2022 and Samsung has been blocking the use of 60fps for 3th party developers in their apps for years. This cripples usefull tools like gimbals-stablizers (think about DJI or ZYIHUN), and use 60 fps with active tracking for example.

All im asking is everyone that would like to use other apps to film with 60fps, just vote +1!

As we cannot create a poll here. When there are enough people, perhaps we can push this to support.

No. If you want issues with the apps then go ahead change this. But this has been set because apps do not have the capacity to do 60hz refresh rate.

That is incorrect, you give an API to devs so they can just activate it. 60fps is not refreshrate...

Umm its how fast your screen can produce frames whilst moving. That's refresh rate of frames.

I'm a games developer. All apps can be refreshed at 60fps. All phones support 60hz.

Samsung have let companies like Snapchat use their camera API. They should let all app developers use it.

We are now almost at the end of 2023 and still no news on "unlocking" the use of 3rd party camera apps to use 4k 60fps....

A massive inconvenience for sure , I jst use the gimbal without the app but iphone works fine with the app
