Hi Shafiul, welcome to the official Community of Samsung Italy!
What MalinoisK9 said is correct.
The overheating can be normal within certain limits and its intensity may be different depending on the situation.
In fact, temperatures can increase when you use specific apps, such as video games, video streaming apps (especially if the screen brightness is set to maximum), apps that use GPS (such as navigators) etc. because there is an intense use of the processor.
Furthermore, you can feel more heat if you use these apps:
- In areas where the network signal (Wi-Fi or data network) is weak: in fact, the device works more to stay connected to the network and offer the requested service.
- In particularly hot environments (under the sun on the beach, inside your car, etc.).
- While the phone is charging.
I suggest you to read the chapter "Device overheating situations and solutions" on the Galaxy S22 manual, page 176 and following:
Check also to the guide that MalinoisK9 suggested you 😉
We remain at your disposal!
Have a nice day.

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with my Samsung S22 Ultra (Snapdragon 256/12) regarding excessive heating when using video call or camera apps. Even after resetting the camera settings, the problem persists, and it becomes unbearable to hold the phone due to the intense heat. This issue is causing a lot of frustration for me, as it hinders my ability to enjoy video calls and capture moments with the camera. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with their S22 Ultra? I would greatly appreciate any insights, tips, or solutions that could help resolve this overheating issue. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
