One UI 8 Update Caused Bootloop on My S22 Ultra

After installing the One UI 8 update on my S22 Ultra, the phone suddenly crashed and went into a bootloop. It only shows the Samsung logo for a few seconds, then goes black and restarts over and over. I didn’t drop it or damage it, and everything worked perfectly before the update.
Now the phone overheats, the laptop can’t detect it, and I can’t access recovery mode. I visited Samsung Customer Service, and without even checking the device properly, they told me I need to replace the mainboard and screen for almost 850 dollars. This doesn’t make sense since the problem started right after the update.
Has anyone faced the same issue or found a real solution? I would really appreciate any help.

Look up how to do an emergency software recovery. Basically if a phone ever fails an update, there's a backup system that allows you to use a computer to fix it.

I'm saying to google it as the steps are always the same, a website is better than me trying to remember the whole process.

Though a tip for your situation, you can enter download mode either via the recovery menu or by holding a certain button combination. If your phone cannot enter the recovery menu, that special button combo might work. Oh and this wipes all your data sadly. Worth a try as it's free and has a decent chance to fix it it's a software bug.

Mine is doing the same.  Was fine before the update, but just crashing and rebooting (sometimes with worryingly long gaps in between) over and over.  Heating up, losing battery in an instant. I didn't do anything to it, no new apps, just installed the update.
