Please please please tell me it is a joke
I've never ever in my life wrote a whiny post like this, but One UI 7 has arrived to my phone and tablet yesterday, and I could not be more annoyed. I won't even start going into details, you exactly know what I am talking about... everything about it is just bad
As a loyal S-series user since S4, I must say this is exactly how you get rid of customers real quick

Wow I've come back to this community following issues with one Ui7 but I've only seen two threads and in both threads I've seen this Joeeye person being a complete child and being such a condescending little person. It's put me right off this so called friendly community already having people like this "contributing".

Wow indeed. I like his contributor abilities. Bot downing and helping on target where genuinely needed. Multitasking

Im mostly replying to this to hopefully get samsung to do something.
my phone FORCIBLY updated to UI 7 and im devestated, I actully just dug out my mom's old LG and am now using that.
I think its pretty obvious waht issues youre talking about but im going to spell out my beef here because its all i can really do to petition for change....
The Notification Panel:
Should be together by default, anyone new coming to samsung is sure to be confused by this seeing as most people are right handed and swiping the right side of the panel doesnt open notifications unless you change it.
The (optionally)Colapsable Button Section makes it so i have to swipe down a minimum of three times just to screen record, they're in a specific order and i want to keep them that way. with the pages i was able to see more without my screen being DOMINATED. there are 45 available buttons, some people use more or less, pages is just a better option all around.
The Volume Slider/Bar, Why. Just Why? We have physical buttons to adjust the volume, using the button also brings up a slider on the side. I see no purpose of this feature except to clutter the panel and suggest that the removing the pysical buttons is next on the list of ways to make people mad.
Media section is also just another form of clutter. Most music apps with have their own playback contol panel on the notifications screen when when they're active.
Nearby devices/ Smart Things and Smart View/ Modes, first off they're HUGE, but most importantly They're NOT Optional. I dont use any of those so it just adds to the overwhemling amount of clutter.
Next up is the App Drawer:
Who thought it would be a good idea to change the most predictable part of searching something on a device? Not everyone uses the search function and its more convient for the apps to be closer to the user. A majority of people are used to having a search function at the top of the screen because that has been the default for a long time. The search function for settings is at the top, URLs are at the top, the text box for find and replace is at the top, even when you visit a website the search function is at the top!
Again this interface seems very cluttered and overwhelming.
i only had the update for 3 hours before switching to a different mobile device so im sure there are more issues i have not listed here. I absolutely agree that changes like this, and not making them optional/customizable is the fastest way to lose loyal customers, everyone i know says they love android phones for the custimization but samsung just made it that much easier for me to ditch the only phones Ive ever known for an LG.
