Please please please tell me it is a joke

I've never ever in my life wrote a whiny post like this, but One UI 7 has arrived to my phone and tablet yesterday, and I could not be more annoyed.  I won't even start going into details, you exactly know what I am talking about... everything about it is just bad

As a loyal S-series user since S4, I must say this is exactly how you get rid of customers real quick

First of all, my comment might be harsh, but it was a first reaction after the first shock.

Sure, I'm glad to have the "most customizable devices ever", but I want to customize them once, when I buy them, and forget it forever. I do not want anybody to mess with it.

I was more than happy with my phone and tablet before this update, and I do not really understand why exactly I am forced to set them up again if I want to have the same experience..... and I am not even sure I can have it.

Of course I can live with these changes, they will not ruin my life, but ruin my experience with Samsung.

But fortunately there are some helpful people like yourself, so for starters, please tell me

1. how to get rid of

1. the new icons
2. the split task bar
3. the ridiculous battery indicator

2. how to get my notfications back

1. they are gone from AOD (well actually they are in the notification bar, but just as limited as I describe in the next point)
2. only two (plus a dot) shows up in the notification bar when the phone is locked
3. only three (plus a dot) shows up in the notification bar when the phone is unlocked

3. how to fix widget sizing, because they are kinda messed up. Not a problem on my phone where I'm not using any,  but very annoying on my tab+

4. how to fix the randomly misalligned AOD

5. what to do with battery drain

These are just the very first questions after the very first few hours with OneUI 7

Yes, I know what you're talking about, I just won't mention the details as I'm a mind reader like yourself. It's terrible how Samsung can't read your mind like I can and personalise THEIR UI to YOUR exact tastes, such poor practices right?

Don't play the stupid. The poor practice is letting me personalize my phone, and then messing it up the next update.

I've set up my phone, I was happy with it, samsung messed it up, and the smart people of the community act like not just it is absolutely fine, but I should be grateful.

So? I find it perfectly fine and there's minor changes in my opinion. In fact I'm finding it hard even recognising any differences, that's how minor the changes are. What makes you think EVERYONE else feels like you? If there's anything I dislike from the default, I know I can adjust it to my liking, which I do and the OS feels, runs, operates no different to how I'm used to.

Cosmetic changes occur regularly, icon looks, shapes are all irrelevant differences in my opinion. I guess you feel differently, but here's the thing aesthetics can be adjusted and if that's all you're complaining at, you have the tools available to change that for you. Like I already mentioned, Samsung aren't mind readers and they can't predict your exact preferences. Also remember, your opinion is YOURS alone, stop assuming everyone else in the world agrees with you, no one knows this answer.

You don't mind the changes, I do... Not a biggie, either I'll fix them, get used to them or just get a new phone if I'll get really angry.... But I simply do not like when somebody messes with my "personalized" stuff and it turns out to be worse than it was. So I expressed my disappointment.

It doesn't, that's why I'm not the one posting angry complaining comments about the update. Or did you forget who's the one crying about it?

It's not like I don't ever have a grievance for some changes in design or UI, but the difference is, I know how to either get around them or simply leave more constructive feedback to Samsung regarding the change than simply "not saying the details" because I assume everyone knows what I'm talking about.
