One ui 6.1 Predictive emojis missing

I got the one 6.1 update and my keyboard is all sorts of wonky. Mainly I can't get rid of the writing assist to disappear (on the far left) but now my text emojis are gone. How do I get back the ability to text "lol" for example and the  😆 emojis would pop up? And yes the predictive text/ emoji suggestions options are turned on.

Are you using the Samsung keyboard? If so, tap the cogwheel and toggle on suggest emojis and suggest stickers while typing

Can you try clearing the cache and data for the Samsung keyboard

Settings> apps. Tap the sort icon and toggle on 'Show system apps ' and tap ok. Scroll down to Samsung Keyboard and tap on it. Tap Storage and finally tap 'clear data' and 'clear cache'.

@Mkp411: Regarding Writing assist, you can toggle off the associated AI options by heading to Settings > General management > Samsung Keyboard settings > Writing assist > Chat translation > Off > Style and grammar > Off. To remove the AI symbol from the Keyboard toolbar, open the Keyboard by tapping on a text input field > Tap the 3 horizontal dots on the right of the Toolbar > Tap the '+' symbol > Tap on the AI button to remove it.

Clearing the data worked for me. It's unfortunate that I have to lose all the predictive text and preferences it learned, but that was the only thing that worked to get the emoji suggestions back.
