My Galaxy 22 Ultra updated today and the incoming calls notifications changed and is now this ugly box at the top of the screen. I've gone into phone settings and changed it back to full screen but it still has the ugly incoming call box at the top of the screen. How do I go back to the full screen that has the callers picture?

Hello @bcorrell and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋
Have a look by launching the phone app > Tap on the 3 little dots in the top Rh Corner > Settings > Call Display While Using Apps > Choose full screen.
If this does not help then If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.
> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
Feedback directly to Samsung via your Samsung Members App too may yield more help.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
