My issue got fixed. I did a factory reset; first time didn't work. I did factory reset 2-3 more times. Then reset mobile network few more times.

Yes it works. Until you restart your phone while not on WiFi and you lose mobile data forever until you do another factory reset.
I have empirically found that you know this will happen when you go to network settings and you cannot disable/enable the sim cards; they will always stay enabled even if you toggle them. Looks like it mostly happens when you have two sim cards in the phone... at least for me

Had this exact issue since it updated two weeks ago. The phone will not switch to mobile data when leaving a wifi network. Calls work fine.
It's not a carrier issue because. If I switch 'mobile hotspot' on, then suddenly mobile data works and I can browse websites again. Plus two other phones with same carrier have no issues.
It's driving me nuts, I've tried restarts, updates, sim swaps and every setting from other threads. Seems like the update was broken.

Same issue and seem unable to resolve it. Updated my device yesterday and it has killed mobile data. Calls/text still work. I rely on mobile data for work. Not good.

My S21 randomly fixed itself after a couple of months and works normally again now.

I am having the same issue as of the beginning of September when they pushed the update. I have gone lengths to try and fix this issue as far as putting in a new sim card, factory resetting my phone, resetting the network, taking my phone to a place an hour and a half away to have a diagnostic run and nothing is wrong with the phone internally. And still am unable to make or receive calls or connect to my network unless I am in Wi-Fi calling. Once I leave my house I am without a phone and nothing works. I have been working with my carrier and they have told me that they have been in touch with Samsung and it was indeed the last update that they pushed beginning of September that affected a batch of phones the s20 ones and the s22s. They advised me to contact Samsung to be directed to an authorized facility or Samsung store where they can push another update manually on the phone. Every time I call Samsung they try to get me to send my phone in and tell me they have to place a hold on my credit card. I will not be sending my phone in because I use it for work everyday and cannot be without it for over a week. Samsung knows there is a huge issue but every time I call they are not taking responsibility so I am completely unable to fix this issue. It has nothing to do with my carrier and everything to do with Samsung. My carrier told me they have been in contact with Samsung and that Samsung can manually push an update if you take it to a Samsung store or affiliated store, when I call the affiliated store today they have no current update to fix the issue. I called another affiliated store over 2 hours away and they are saying they have no communications with Samsung so I'm wondering what's up Samsung? How are we to fix this issue? Im about ready t

I've recently faced this issue. How did you work around it? Or better yet, got rid of it?
