Logged out of emails on phones only

Today I reset my password as I wanted to access my email account using my laptop but couldn't recall my password. Simple enough. However since this was done I and my husband haven't received any emails on our phones. Usually we are just prompted to sign in again using the new password and the emails resync. Today there are error messages and we've tried everything but no luck. Have now deleted the accounts and tried to re-add but the password isn't being accepted (although it on the laptop) 🤯

@LD25: Which app are you using to access your emails on your Galaxy device? It is possible that the change won't be recognised instantly on external devices, so you may wish to try again after 24 hours, to see if you're able to add the account again with your new credentials.

The message I'm getting is that it's a server error but I have no idea what that means or what to do next. I've deleted and re added the account and uninstalled and reinstalled the app already

@LD25: If it's a server error, then this is likely to be from your providers side. To test this, please try adding your account to the Gmail app to see if you have more success. To do so, open Gmail > Tap your profile in the top right > Add another account, then follow the on-screen prompts. Let me know how you get on.
