Hello,

I'm looking for a mobile phone where I can have 1x physical sim, 1x SD, 1x e-sim at the same time. Can the Galaxy S22 do it? Or can another Galaxy S do it?

I saw information in the discussion that there is slot1 and slot2, and after loading the e-sim, slot2 is not functional. Is slot2 hybrid (for sim/SD)? Will slot2 be functional for SD after loading the e-sim?

I can't give up SD and two sims (private/business).

The S22 ultra is duel sim, it doesn't have a slot for a SD card. You would have to buy a A model for the SD card models none other S series carry that slot now. I think the last model which did was the S20 or S21.

Hi,
Okay, so samsungs more modern flagships don't do SD cards, so you might want to look into the A series phone. Regarding sim cards, you can have two at once, but you can't use both at the same time. You need to alternate. To my knowledge, no phone across all brands or service provider offers a system to use both at once.

Hi @borlan  As mentioned  modern S Series phones do not have the SD card slot,in fact the last one was the S20 series https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/01/14/samsung-ditches-microsd-card-slot-for-galaxy-s21-series/

There is the option for a number of A series devices but not the recent A36 and A56 models. Can see a list here https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung-phones-f-9-9.php

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thanks for the answer. Otherwise - I have a Galaxy J5 and both sims are active at the same time. And a separate SD slot. I'm trying to do the same with the new phone while maintaining the size. Unfortunately, it's not working...

Thanks for the reply. It seems so...the A models are too big, I want to keep the size of the Galaxy J5 if possible...

Thanks for the advice. I thought there was at least a hybrid slot. Galaxy A is too big, I want to stay as close as possible to Galaxy J5. I guess I have an unsolvable problem...
