How do I disable 2g connectivity on s22 ultra

essentially it will not touch 2g as long as higher speeds are available

I just set mine to 3G when at home since there's no 4G or 5G where we live. When I'm working and travelling I use 4G/5G.

Disabling 2g and leaving 5g/LTE/3g support is intended to improve security. The fact that the phone won't switch to 2g if higher standards are available doesn't protect you from being connected to a fake BTS, the operation of which will jam other standards and lead to being connected to a fake BTS eavesdropping on your calls.

Look in Settings,  Connections, Mobile Networks and then tap on the network mode and choose what you want to set.
