My home screen swipes left to right for the next screen an I change this to swipe right to left?

This is how Samsung Home Screen swiping works @lesleyAok 

Swiping the other way gives you Samsung Free / Google Discover if you have it toggled On.

I'm not sure if you use another launcher such as Nova Prime that this can be customised.

Apologies if I've misunderstood but on your home screen, pinch two fingers together to get your screens to display then any app screens, hold and move to the right of your home screen. Then to see them you'd have to scroll right to left. The Samsung Free/Google Discover will still remain in its current position though.
