Faulty new phone

Hello,

I have owned the Samsung Galaxy S10E for about three years. After so long, the battery has deteriorated so much (battery overheating, short battery life) that I decided to buy a new Samsung Galaxy S22.

After I received the Samsung Galaxy S22, I noticed that the battery life is even shorter and overheating is more frequent than with my three-year-old phone.

I contacted the official Slovenian service (I got the address of the service from the official Samsung website) and asked for help. They told me to send the phone for diagnostics. I even had to pay for the shipping myself.

After a week, they told me that the motherboard had to be replaced. On a brand new phone! Without my permission to do anything else but diagnostics!

This is unacceptable to me. I bought a new phone, I do not want a repaired one with possible further problems ahead!

If they had not repaired the phone, I could have just returned it to the seller (31 days free return policy). But now that is uncertain.

I contacted the local Slovenian Samsung support. No answer.

What can I do now? How can I bypass the Slovenian Samsung support and contact Samsung directly? Please help.

Best regards

@MPyg I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your S22. Did they go through any troubleshooting with you to resolve this? If so, what did they do?

Here you are through to Samsung UK, we cannot inspect or overturn any decisions if you are based in Slovenia. I am happy to go through some steps that may help, if not, you will need to contact our colleagues in Slovenia via https://www.samsung.com/si/support/

Thank you very much for the answer. Only an instance above Samsung national support can help me as the local service was working against my authorisation and local support is not responding.

If you don't mind me asking, the name of the website starts with EU. So how come this forum is only for the UK, which is no longer part of the EU?

Hi @MPyg  on the other point it is the European communities (rather than  European  union) and this is the Uk/Ireland one , other communities available on the drop down Menu at bottom of website.   The slovenian/Slovakian one is here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/slovenia/Slovakia

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Unfortunately, this is for Slovakia and not for Slovenia.  It seems that there is no forum for Slovenia.
