Facebook badge not showing notifications

I have just brought the Samsung galaxy S22 and all my apps are showing notifications apart from the facebook badge. It never shows the number of notifications I always have to go into facebook to see it. Is anyone else having this problem? And does anyone know if it can be fixed. I have checked all of facebook settings and even re installed facebook but it still does not work.

Did you ever get the app icon showing for Facebook notifications? I have the same problem. Thanks@
