Can't get rid of voicemail notification!?

How in the blue hell do I get rid of this voicemail notification?. I haven't even got any voicemail to listen too. (O2 UK) And clearing the app data/cache under apps/phone isn't working either!?

Try this: on the keypad, press and hold 1

That should take you to your voicemail.
There should be a voice message that you haven't listened to. Listen to it all the way, then delete or save it. Then hang up.
Has this fixed the issue?

This solution worked for me. Just calling voicemail didn't work but holding the 1 speed dial button (for some reason) did.

I'd just posted my own "help wanted" post too. Lol. Thank you.

Why is that ALWAYS ITs first question? Despite what you all think that RARELY is a solution. And 90% of the population has already tried that before reaching out for help. My option to turn OFF the voicemail notifications is greyed out so I can't turn it off. Why?!

Factory reset it. That will remove it.

No it won't apparently the carrier controls the Voicemail Notifications. So I have to wait on them to disable it.

That's probably why I never get that problem. I've always bought unlocked handset only.
