Call sound issues - others can't hear me during calls and I can't hear them either

Hi,

I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....

This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.

Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

This is starting to happen today with my S22 as well, I will answer a call but the caller will not hear me at all, new S22 and with other issues this last month I have been instructed to ru. factory reset last week to address other problems. I am waiting on Google fi support this morning with regard to the ringing.

I have an unlocked USA version S906U1 and have the same problem.  The phone is riddled with bugs such as Wifi Calling turning off after being in airplane mode and turning airplane mode off.  E-Sim for AT&T eventually not working for Wifi Calling making the dual sim feature sub optimal, the July update in 2022 killing the ability to make calls/SMS fixed with the August update, this bluetooth bug.  My solution was to dump my Samsung phones on eBay and get iPhones.  No more sammys for me!

I have the same issue here, and while I changed the SIM and the Samsung customer care reinstalled everything, the problem came back.  It is so frustrating, as the signal falls completely during calls and while I surf online. It has been going on since February. I am running out of options and consider switching to an iphone.

For me turning on the 5G solved the issue for my S22 Ultra. I think there isn't a unique solution for this. Couldn't read all messages. I hope this helps someone.
